March 15, 2007

Lynne is nearly finished with the first of six weeks of radiation. The treatments did not take long to create fatigue. The last two days have brought many naps. Lynne began her chemotherapy last evening. She awoke at 2 am extremely nauseated which lasted only about 30 minutes after taking some nausea medication. I don't know if the body becomes accustomed to the chemo which lessens that symptom but knowing that the treatment lasts a year we are definitely hoping so.

Lynne continues to receive cards which provide a highlight in her day. Today she received a home-made card from a six year old that touch her deeply and made a few tears flow. Thanks to you again for your continued support in that area.

Darryl

Hi Lynne,

This is Joyce from Missouri again---Bev Harlow's sister. I've been continuing to read Darryl's blog since returning home last month, and I'm just amazed at how well you are doing with your treatments and all you've had to go through. You are doing a wonderful job, and you are an inspiration to me! Keep up the good work!

My prayers are with you!

Love, Joyce Ellis
