Lynne is feeling better today and mobility is much improved over yesterday. Her EEG was normal. Good chance of going home tomorrow. While a definitive diagnosis is still outstanding, the seizures may have resulted from a combination of edema and a low level of seizure medication. Having witnessed the effects of edema in the past, I believe this to be the most plausible explanation.

Lynne is resting comfortably. She underwent a brain scan this morning with results expected later today. The right side motor deficit is markedly worse today compared to yesterday before the bout of seizures. She is still in good spirits. Your continued prayers are appreciated.

She is in ICU so visitation is limited to family at the moment. She is resting well. Thanks to all who have submitted your thoughts and prayed on her behalf.

Lynne’s brain surgery  is scheduled for 9 Sep 2009. Tomorrow, she is scheduled for a functional MRI to map neurological responses to motor functions. This helps the surgeon know what to avoid during the brain surgery to minimize neurological damage.

As always, Lynne and I appreciate your prayers.

Darryl
