9 July 2009

Lynne had an MRI on 30 Jun 2009 and we met with the radiation oncologist on 8 July 2009. The MRI shows continued stability. The oncologist can not say that no cancer cells remain but did mention that the MRI might be showing just scar tissue remaining from the surgery and radiation. Monitoring will continue but on a less frequent basis. The doctor mentioned that she is a poster girl for the Glioblastoma Multiforme brain cancer, which made Lynne's day. We are both encouraged from the report. Lynne will continue to suffer symptoms resulting from any brain injury. Lynne has already demonstrated that she can tackle those like a champion line-backer.

Your continued prayers, thoughts, and encouragements are always appreciated.

Regards,
Darryl

Darryl and Lynne,

Immediately after I read this blog entry, I called Steve and shared the wonderful news. I told him it will make his day. It definitly has made my day. God is so good to his children and I'm saying a prayer of thanksgiving on behalf of you both.

Love and miss you...Lisa Hilton
