Lynne returned to the ER yesterday afternoon following a precipitous decline in her condition. I arrived home from Chicago on an early flight, not yet knowing the news. I received a hearty hug from her and that loving gaze I am very familiar seeing. Not long after, she entered a deep sleep that continues as of this posting. I decided to move her to Banner Gardens Hospice House, where she moved last evening. I believe we are in the last days of Lynne's wonderful life. She has touched the lives of many people and for that I am very grateful.

Darryl,
Denyce and I are following this with heavy hearts, prayerful, but also rooted in the joy of our sister expecting to be home soon with the Father. Know that we are praying for you over here. Can't imagine to know what this must be like for you and the rest of your family, but to whatever extent we're able, we're with you in spirit and prayer. Love you, brother.
Darryl,
We are so sorry that Lynne is losing her fight. She has been such an inspiration to all of us. I know I would have never had the courage she has. Even if I had a small portion of her courage I couldn't have shown the attitude she has. We all love her and cherish having shared her life. Our hearts go out to you and pray for both of you and your families. Jerry & Judy
Dear Darryl,
So sorry to hear this -- but so glad you got that hug -- what a precious memory. Our God is so good and He faithfully keeps His promises. Lynne goes on to much better things. We will continue to pray for her comfort and for an immeasurable peace for her family that she will be leaving behind. May you be comforted by our Father through these difficult times.
Love from -- Oleta and Joe

Darryl,
Oh my brother what can we say when our hearts are so sad, the news of Lynn was given to the church this morning, and all just like I could not believe it. You both have been great friends, and Lynn has been an inspiration to all of us. May God wrap her with his love, May the blood of Christ bring renewd spirit to her. Our prayers are for you and your family. I have leaned on you before, lean on me now.

Darryl,
We are sorry to hear that this terrible illness has taken over Lynne's life to the point that it is winning. She would tell me how "we had history together", I will never forget that.
We want you to know that you are in our prayers.
Frank & Donna
Kathy and I are so sorry, Darryl, for what you must endure. We have been holding you up in prayer and in fact, our whole family and our "family" at Northcrest Church of Christ here in Mexia has also. We are thinking of you constantly right now.
