April 16, 2007
The delay in my update is for two reasons, Lynne continues to do very well and I started back to school three weeks ago. Lynne's radiation is taking its toll on her hair. There is a distinctive outline where the radiation enters and exits the skull. The doctor prescribed a cranial prosthesis (a.k.a wig) due to radiation and chemotherapy induced alopecia.
Lynne's last radiation treatment is scheduled for May 2, 2007. The radiation and chemotherapy continue to have minimal side-effects at this point. Please continue your prayers on her behalf. We are grateful for the progress to date.

Dear Darryl,
Thanks so much for the update. Have been in touch with Van and Sandy -- so have managed to remain aware that things were going well. However, it is always extra nice to hear directly from you guys. Lynne, your wig is lovely -- unless people you meet are in the know -- they will not know it is a wig. Take it from one who wears one on a regular basis.
God bless you two as you continue to get better and better. Also, good luck with you schooling, Darryl.
Love,
Oleta (and Mr. Joe)
Hello Darryl,
I am so glad to hear that Lynne continues to have such good results from the treatments...and thanks for the new pics!
With or without the wig - Lynne is a beautiful woman...and I love her and you and look forward to seeing your family real soon.
Cyberhugs 'til then,
Joyce
Hey, love the poofy look again!! Glad things are going so well. Hope to visit soon. We love you... The Croffoot Clan
Dearest Darryl and Lynne,
Thanks for the pics. I love the cranial prosthesis! It looks so much like Lynne's normal hair, but it must be much easier for her to cut. I was always amazed that Lynne was able to cut her own hair. I can hardly fix the back of mine properly, much less cut it.
God has answered our prayers regarding the side effects of the treatments. He is truely great!
Love ya bunches and bunches,
Lisa Hilton

Hello Lynne,
Your Aunt Mary has been keeping me updated on your progress and other family news. It's bitter-sweet how joy is mixed with sadness. GOD knows best and shows us in amazing ways. Our prayers continue as does thanksgiving for God's healing and comfort. And Lynne, your smile is the best.
Love to you and your family,
Dena
