March 6, 2007

Lynne had another good night's rest. She was taken to the radiation facility to fit her with a fixture used during her upcoming radiation treatment. She went through a simulation to prepare her for the treatments over the next six weeks. She has had some pain in her right hip for several weeks but appears to be worsening today. She will speak with the doctor about that today. It is concerning her enough to postpone her leaving the hospital today. Hopefully, we can have an answer soon.

Lynne and I continue to be grateful for all of the notes, cards, email, blog posts, prayers, and thoughts. While they may seem little to you, each one brightens her day more than you will know.

Darryl

Glad to know that the notes brighten Lynne's day! Hope the hip is a result of too much laying in bed and nothing more! The Lord has a way of forcing us to rely on Him, doesn't He? I pray that this will only draw you nearer to Him! I pray for youand yours daily and know that He hears and will answer in love. God bless you!

Dear Darryl and Lynne,
Our prayers will continue to ascend to the God and Father of us all. We pray that you be surrounded with a special sense of His loving comfort and enduring peace, during this time of radiation and the additional uncertainty regarding the pain in Lynne's hip. Love you both!

Dear Lynn & Darryl,
We are praying for you as you go through this. Remember to hold on to God's promises to us. One of our favorite's is Isaiah 43:2-3. He walks with us through the rivers and through the flames because He is our God. May God give you both strength and encouragement and may you feel the prayers being lifted up for you.
In Him, Kyle & Brenda from Stanton, Tx

Good news that it was not new growth. I prayed it wouldn't be. I hope the treatments will make Lynne soon to be back to her wonderful self. I pray for her fast recovery. I pray for you too Darryl to hold up and be strong for your family.
