The radiation and chemotherapy are taking a toll on Lynne. Lynne tires easily and is resting often. She did attend worship yesterday for the first time since this ordeal began in January. She enjoyed seeing everyone and the service but was quite tired upon returning home. Her tiredness continued into today so we'll have to be careful to monitor the length of her activities. The doctors and nurses warned us that this might occur and that activities need to be paced.
Your continued prayers on Lynne's behalf are appreciated. Several have provided meals over the last several weeks and for that we are extremely grateful. I wish I could put into words our thankfulness to all of you that have extended your love and support to Lynne. Words usually come easy for me but in this case I struggle with finding words that adequately captures our emotions and feelings. Just know how very important your actions are regardless of how unimportant or insignificant they might appear to you.
As stated previously, the blog updates will lessen as the news becomes more routine but I will do my best to update you as significant news emerges.

Hi again, Darryl,
It sounds as though God is indeed answering everyones prayers in that you and Lynne are being LOVED!
I thank Him and do pray His Hand of healing be upon your beautiful wife.
"...love BEARS all things, BELEIVES all things, HOPES all things, ENDURES all things."
You are a wonderful husband, father, brother, and friend.
Please give a hug to Lynne on our bealf, and to Joshua and Jessica, too.

Dear Darryl and Lynne,
Thanks once again for keeping us in the know as to how things are going. What you term as "more routine" could as well be termed "over the long haul". We all realize that this is going to be a bumpy road; but with God's help "bumpy roads" are where His light will shine the brightest through you both -- as it has already been doing!
You are both such an example to all who know and love you. Our Father (and your's) is with you each step of the way. Our continued prayer is that you feel His nearness and are comforted by His love and caring for you both.
Love you dearly!
Joe & Oleta
