Lynne and I recently completed a vacation, the first since her illness began 28 months ago. We visited her family in Oregon for a few days then took an Alaskan cruise aboard the Norwegian Pearl. The results of Lynne's MRI taken on 13 May 2009 show signs of improvement. She also had her esophagus scoped today and her treatment is improving the irritation. We are thankful for the results on both counts.

Lynne started feeling worse this afternoon with nausea. I took her to the ER for a check. A CT scan shows no concerns, so the doctor is treating her for an ulcer.

For the last couple of months, Lynne has experienced bouts of abdominal and esophageal pain. Last week, the issue became concerning enough to seek medical advice. She is awaiting an appointment with a specialist. Your prayers on her behalf are appreciated.

The temperatures are perfect in Arizona right now, so we were able to enjoy our dinner on the patio this evening. The sky was slightly overcast with a gentle breeze. Doesn't get much better than that.
